You'd think a compassionate female attorney who was genuinely a rape victim would act to thwart--and help prosecute--a predator. But she's a Liberal. While this thought seems harsh and I hope I'm wrong--maybe Susan actually feels she deserved the way she was treated--and that Juanita deserved the way SHE was treated.
Or maybe Susan is TERRIFIED of facing the truth about her 'hero' Bill.
By her cowardice and silence, she's enabling a monster to continue to roam. But, at least she's selling books.
I pray that her conscience drives her to the point where she must break her silence.
