To: Rushmore Rocks
I'll stick to my diet of buffalo, elk, venison, beef, pork and chicken.......in that order.

I'm becoming more and more inclined to keep meat as a non-essential or minimal part of our diet (although I do have a fondness for turkey) (mad cow disease, bird flu, e-coli in veggies and concern about whether fruits are from the USA or imported (re sanitation) or if anything is biologically engineered). Perhaps I'm just paranoid.

Our freezer is full of corn, beans, squash and tomatoes from our garden, not to mention huckleberry preserves and frozen berries for juice and milk shakes.

That sounds really good MamaD. Do you have deer around there? My problem is they eat everything here. I've heard fabric softener sheets are somewhat of a deterrent.
