***It is amazing how the youth of the world are used.

Pure evil.***

Some of the stuff out there is just crazy, evil, chaos. If our youth do not know their identity they will run with those who are aimless, too. Unfortunately for many people affirmation and acceptance truncates making wise godly decisions. We need to consider the moral and spiritual legacy for our youth.

Gang warfare as Paris burns

From correspondents in Paris
November 05, 2005

FIREMEN battled blazes set by gangs of youths around Paris into the early hours of today, as the worst violence the capital has seen in decades dragged on into its ninth straight night.

Some 220 vehicles were set alight around the city, especially in the restive northern suburbs at the epicentre of the troubles which have left authorities powerless despite the deployment of hundreds of riot police since last week.

A hundred people were evacuated overnight from two apartment blocks in that region when one arson attack set dozens of cars in an underground garage on fire......

BRITISH TERROR SUSPECT HAD U.S. IMAGES

11/4/2005, 11:10 p.m. ET
By MARK SHERMAN
The Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) — A terror suspect arrested in England had images of the Capitol and other Washington landmarks on his computer, according to federal authorities, who were skeptical that an attack on the nation's capital was being planned.

Younis Tsouli, 22, was one of three men charged with a variety of terrorism offenses. One of the charges against Tsouli alleges that a video stored on the hard drive of a computer in his bedroom showed how to make a car bomb and another showed a number of places in Washington.

The charge sheet did not name the places. However, a U.S. law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity Friday, said the Capitol was among the locations contained in short video clips.

Terrance Gainer, chief of the U.S. Capitol Police, discounted the idea of a serious threat to the Capitol.

"I don't believe there's any direct threat to the Capitol," he said. "I believe that's shared by the intelligence community."

FBI Assistant Director John Miller said the investigation was continuing. "There is no credible indication of any imminent threat at this time," Miller said.

A U.S. counterterrorism official who also spoke on condition of anonymity said investigators believe the men may have been involved in "jihadist bravado."

The law enforcement and counterterrorism officials asked not to be identified because the investigation is continuing.

Tsouli, Waseem Mughal, 22, and Tariq Al-Daour, 19, made a brief appearance Friday in a London court, speaking only to confirm their names and ages. Judge Daphne Wickham ordered the three, all from the London area, to remain in custody until another court appearance Nov. 18.

Scotland Yard said the arrests were not linked to the July suicide bombings in London, which killed 56 people, including the four attackers.

Good find ffnj. Thank you for that report.

>> Terrance Gainer, chief of the U.S. Capitol Police, discounted the idea of a serious threat to the Capitol. <<

Terrance is either a complete idiot or he's repeating gov't lip service to keep the sheeple calm.

We all know there IS a threat to the capitol and every other city in the US.

I guess if you repeat a lie long enough people will start to believe it - no matter how outrageous.

"4-Year Sentence in Pipe Bomb Sting [TN]"
AP via TBO ^ | Nov 5, 2005 | Bill Poovey

Posted on 11/04/2005 9:38:29 PM PST by ncountylee

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - A federal judge sentenced a former Ku Klux Klansman to 14 years in prison Friday for making pipe bombs and selling them to an undercover informant who said they would be used to kill illegal immigrants.

Daniel Schertz, 27, apologized to his family before the judge gave him the maximum possible penalty in a plea agreement.

"The court is not going to take into account at all your involvement with the Ku Klux Klan. That is your right," federal Judge Curtis L. Collier told him. "We do punish for behavior."

Schertz pleaded guilty to building five pipe bombs and selling them to an undercover informant for $750 in April. The bombs were to be "detonated on a bus carrying Mexican workers to work in Florida," according to his plea agreement."

"Family guilty of 'honour killing' (Happened in UK)"
BBC News ^ | Friday, 4 November 2005,

Posted on 11/04/2005 10:01:59 PM PST by F14 Pilot

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "A father and his two sons have been found guilty of murdering his daughter's boyfriend in an "honour killing" after she became pregnant. Arash Ghorbani-Zarin, 19, was found stabbed 46 times in a car in Rosehill, Oxford, on 20 November last year.

The Iranian Muslim had been studying at Oxford Brookes University.

Chomir Ali, 44, was found guilty of ordering sons Mohammed Mujibar Rahman, 19, and Mamnoor Rahman, 16, to kill Mr Ghorbani-Zarin, at Oxford Crown Court.

During the trial, the court heard the two sons killed Mr Ghorbani-Zarin due to the "shame and dishonour" brought on the family by his relationship with Manna Begum.

The pair met in 2003 through school friends, who described them as devoted to each other, with Miss Begum becoming pregnant in August 2004.

But Miss Begum's father, a Bangladeshi-born waiter, had planned for her to have an arranged marriage.

Her brother, Mujibar Rahman, was also furious at his sister's "blatant" defiance and had previously slapped her for refusing to end the relationship.

'Intelligent and loving'

After the killing, the DNA of Mamnoor Rahman was found on a knife.

The Rahman brothers' blood-stained clothing was also found in a plastic bag, which street sweepers saw being thrown into an Oxford allotment by their father, three days after the murder.

In summing up the trial, which lasted four weeks, Mr Justice Gross said the Western-style relationship caused a "battle of wills" in Miss Begum's family, as she resisted pressure to conform."

OPINION: Yep, FR is media prep for any media that is really paying attention to news and current events.

It's about time - and those who want to lead the pack reporting hot-button issues can generally find them first on FR/TM. For many that is if their liberal ownership allows it.

France needs to grow huevos and deal firmly with the situation NOW. The best plan would have been dealing firmly with the situation right from the start.

Cindy, you are SO right. It's not too late for them to take the bull by the horns and stop the violence. Whatever it takes to do it. The longer they delay in mob control, the more difficult it will be to restore law and order.

Ditto your post.

You know I always say, "Political Correctness is a culture killer" and "Political Correctness is a killer." Well, I believe the situation in France is a perfect example of both those adages.

One alleged gang member (MS-13) was taken into custody and two others were killed after authorities said they opened fire on undercover FBI agents in east Houston

Hoping the FBI puts a good buzz in the ears of the powers that be for immigration reform and border protection. It's getting out of hand - and recent European current events show how these groups can escalate violence. Echoing the old motto: (thanks A_D) BE PREPARED.

It’s not just Paris. Successive nights of riots have rocked parts of Århus, the second largest city in Denmark. Little to nothing has appeared in the English language press about the second front in the Eurabian intifada.

"I don't believe there's any direct threat to the Capitol," he said. "I believe that's shared by the intelligence community."

If so, then there's there's concern about how much intelligence is in the intelligence community. Comments like these do little to form trust in an agency formed to protect our nation's security. There are times saying nothing at all is much more effective than issuing a statement removing all doubt a potential threat has been denied.
