My husband told that Jersey City was crawling with cops in the Path trains in Jersey City yesterday. I wonder if this has anything to do with it.

RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL LOST AT JFK

Somehow Ends Up In Secured Drum At Postal Facility In Jersey

(CBS) JERSEY CITY You've all heard stories about airlines losing luggage, but how do you lose a 200-pound drum containing dangerous radioactive material?

"I'm still in awe I can't believe it happened," Phil Piccuirro, a plant safety specialist at the U.S. Postal facility in Jersey City, N.J., told CBS2......

Strange, I was just reading this report about someone with the same last name: Paracha

PAKISTAN: EX-LAWMAKER ASKED TO ACT AS BRIDGE BETWEEN U.S. AND TALIBAN

Peshawar, 18 Nov. (AKI/DAWN) - A US state department official has approached a former Pakistani parliamentarian, known for his contacts with Islamic militants, to ask him to serve as a bridge between Washington, the Taliban and their Arab comrades, a source close to the former member of Pakistan's National Assembly Javed Ibrahim Paracha said. The Americans however have denied that any meeting took place between the visiting US official and Paracha.

Paracha confirmed his meeting with Karen Hughes, US under-secretary for public diplomacy and public affairs at the state department, and US military officials at Islamabad’s Serena Hotel last Friday but declined to give details. (snip)

Morning MamaD

That report on the Tamiflu deaths was disconcerting. I also heard somewhere in the news that the suicides were weird like running in front of a truck and jumping from a building. It does seem that drugs sometimes affect children differently than adults. Pancreatitis seems really odd to me.

"12 Japanese children die after taking Tamiflu

Snip: In a report posted online, the US Food and Drug Administration said yesterday that 12 children had died in Japan from causes including heart attack, suicide, pneumonia and acute pancreatitis. Four had suffered a "sudden death", which was "an unusual phenomenon in otherwise healthy children". All had taken Tamiflu.

Stunning and as if that's not enough, the last sentence is a corker too:

>>>Meanwhile, another radioactive package, a minitron, lost for five weeks, remains missing.<<<
