Actually the commies should be counted on the side of antievolutionists who want to dictate science curricula via political or popular pressure, overriding professional review.

You should be more afraid of the courts dictating science curricula. Anyway, I thought the ACLU types prosecuting this case were the commies, not the creationists or ID'rs.

Cordially,

First and second - or, alternative - realities speak to Truth and imagination. Truth is the nature of reality. Science has little to do with establishing the nature of reality. It is only when science demands to be the sole arbiter of reality that we get in trouble.
Science, philosophy, theology, metaphysics, teleology, and etc, etc are all imaginings. Reality precludes all of them and is not subject to them. Reality is not what anyone says it is. It simply is what it is. We can, perhaps, if we are very careful, ascertain some aspect of reality.
Science priests who insist that their system precludes all other systems are living well outside the bounds of reality. They are outraged that simpletons make demands on their dogma. Notice the contempt, incindiary flaming, and emotion-laden vitriol of these paragons of objectivity. It is a sight to behold.
But then, as betty boop so brilliantly clarified, censorship is the only recourse for those who live beyond the pale of truth and reality.
