NR misses a larger point that the Democrats know that the Senate Intelligence "Phase II" report is coming soon and will rebuke all of the Democrat's rhetoric of the last 2 years, which is exactly why they made a big fuss claiming there was a "cover-up" impeding that very report.
The Democrats are trying to set the tone for how the media receives the report when it comes out. They're hoping for "Republican Cover-up?" as the headline.
Democrats also did it to change the subject back to the indictment of Libby because all the talk had shifted to Alito, and its already clear their overheated rhetoric against Alito was a big dud.

I LOVE that list and you're right! No wonder I'm sitting here smiling -- even though I will be fuming the end of the week if the Pubbies don't take on the leftist lies.

Some do need to grow a set.
I guess some are maybe a bit worried when they see the bogus charges that can be filed against them like DeLay ,Scooter and the rest. Even proving the charges are false can be real expensive.
We need to engage in a little more pay-back so the rats won't keep trying these tricks. If they think they can pick our guys off one by one with no repercussions they will do just that. We need to fight back and hard.

They are constantly "fogging",,a tactic of psychopaths. Just throw things out right and left. I saw Dean on tv lying his head off about his spin on the indictments,,he kept saying Val the Spy was a covert agent, kept saying Robe had revealed her id to the public. And they all act like Dick Cheney had no right to know anything secret.
They fog, throw mud, lie, distort,,,psychopaths.

Exactly right. And I get tired of our playing defense constantly. Let's go on offense.

Email your dim senators and tell them you did not like this trick and will not vote to re-elect them!

I think we are on stealth defense. After all, today was a great day for us.

Hmmm - with that happy thought, maybe I can leave the net for a while and not fret.
It did make me smile to see Harry Reid acting like a baby with diaper rash.

And if our Republicans don't toughen up, I am going to get really angry. It seems that freepers do a better job defending the war and policies of the administration than the Republican senators or the administration does for itself. It's frustrating in the extreme.
Yep
And it was the grass roots movement that got the GOP congress in 94 and presidency in 2000-2004
If the democrats weren't such wacked out lefties the GOP would be dead in the water cause they sure don't know how the hell to fight
The only thing they will understand is pressure from their base
When the RNC comes a calling on the phone tell them to grow a pair and maybe your contributions will continue

Could be stealth but Peach is right. we need to kick their asses once in a while. Let them know they can't lie and strike our guys with impunity any more without getting it back in spades.

I think part of the reason has to do with Reid's indignation at not being consulted re the Alito nomination. It was his way of saying that if you don't keep me in the loop, I will not keep the gop leadership in the senate in the loop when I plan my moves.

Oh, I can't tell you how many phone calls we've gotten where I've told the caller just that. Dozens. We were big contributors and that has dried up since the first of this year when I could see the Republicans were lining up behind the adminstration and NO ONE was defending the war effort.
That permits the military the be demoralized and I will not tolerate that.

I hope we are enough! LOL! Dems are pretty good liars and they are damned underhanded. They have had so much experience at it. I just wish our elected side had a lot more guts. I don't fear dems, they are what they are. It's traitor pubbies that unnerve me.

The entire Democrap Party is ignored that part of the indictment. They think that just the lying part somehow proves the leak was illegal.
