Gee I guess it really is mean of us to be angry with a guy that goes and splits power 50/50 with the Dems when he has the votes to actually run the joing I defended Lott when his statements were taken out of context, but the substance of his apologies were an embarrassment...just as his leadership was. Too bad the best politics Lott can seem to play are within his own party.

He lost his power on his own ...it didnt take a long knife,just a sort of perpetual goofiness on his part. He can stay in Mississippi no problem ...but where do these guys get the idea they are Presidential contenders or whatever ? He needs a reality check and attacking others is no way to build himself up
