Nah. I'm not really active as a volunteer or anything But I read some of your comments about Keyes you said you work on a lot of campaigns and in MD doing special ops, reminded me of Rove. I agreed with the stuff you said about Keyes and Mike Steele. Shame that one nutcase doesn't get it. Anyway, just like bloggin away. We gotta be real about 2006 gonna be tough. Might need to play dirty. Most recent campaign activity: Me and my buddies went to the dem debate party at a bar in baltimore heckling Kerry, O'Malley and all the other dems kept giving us dirty looks, we just kept heckling like we were at an O's game.

Mayor Martin O'Malley has opened his re-election headquarters in the (Belvedere) square.
Others expected to open this year include Grand Cru, a wine and beer specialty store and sampling bar; the restaurant Taste; and Ryan's Daughter, an Irish pub in the former Chili's.

After a community outcry, and at Mayor Martin O'Malley's prodding, a redevelopment team composed of Struever Bros., Eccles & Rouse, the Hawkins Development Group, the Manekin Corp. and Williams Jackson Ewing acquired last year the nearly vacant shopping center. City and state funding pumped $4.2 million into the $14 million (Belvedere) deal.

From Eamon:
Last weekend saw us heading south to Baltimore and then on to Cary North Carolina. It would seem like a long journey but compared to next weekend it felt like going to Staten Island. We played in a new bar called Ryan's Daughter. Nice place and we were well looked after. One of the highlights was when the Mayor of Baltimore, Martin O'Malley showed up. As you may know he has his own Irish band named O'Malley's March. He arrived without the band but with his two bodyguards. Luckily I had brought four bodyguards so I didn't feel any less important. The Mayor joined us for "I'll Tell My Ma" and the song wound up with he and Greg "marching" across the bar counter rocking out. It was good fun and the crowd seemed to really appreciate the sight of their City leader letting it loose. I was a little worried as he was using my guitar and I at various times he looked like he was going to hit the deck and smash my Martin to pieces (Martin guitar that is.) I was imagining this long legal battle dragging through the Maryland courts. Me against the Mayor. I didn't fancy my chances. Luckily it all worked out in the end. See YOU and your "friends" next time MR. MAYOR!
O'Doherty works for O'Malley. O'Doherty's brother had worked for the County Exec Jim Smith. O'Doherty's daughter opens a new restaurant at a site where O'Malley "encouraged" redevelopment. It alos looks like a possible money connection between the O'Doherty brothers and Damien's position as President.
The MD GOP should be all over this one. If the WAPO is implicated as a willing contributor and co-conspirator, the question then becomes who was Ryan's connection at WAPO? Who wrote the story?
