Look for a post that doesn't quite look right, as if it is something to stir others up into saying stupid things that would hurt the forum.
It isn't about ideas or ideals with 99.9999% of the trolls, but it IS about hurting the forum.
You got that right. The pattern is very predictable. Savvy trolls will bide time, post on a "hot" thread or two. Solicit confidence utilizing a couple of plants. The stupid ones perform the "hit-and-run", and cross link. There have been a few semi-respectable liberals that would engage in dialog. The big lesson learned for many here may be regarding trust, and confidentiality.
I agree. Tolerance to each other's ideas and opinions allows for growth, intolerance leads to the withering of our group, thusly our power.
Exactly right. Anymore, I try to bring questionable posters to the attention of the mods and let them decide about them. Or at least alert the mods to what they are saying.
