While I have serious doubts about the ethics of IVF, I do not think this thread should be bashing Brooke Shields. She is a rather traditional woman; not at all like many of the goofy radical-lib feminists out in Hollywood these days.

she's done a lot of damage by promoting the "miracles" of biotechnology and IVF and appeared in many teen magazines touting this demonic procedure where many embryos are "discarded" for the "one" baby who makes it to see the light of day.
She started her commercial career with a lascivious Calvin Kline blue jeans commercial.
His controversial ad campaigns started in the late '80s with the Brooke Shields ad, to the waify Kate Moss modeling Ck One and his lingerie/innerwear line in the '90s. Klein has become notorious for the nudity, blatant sexuality, and use of underage, prepubescent models in his ads, which have not hurt his success in the least.
