I hadn't heard of that incident, but my parents reported that Phelps'
group did a protest at Newkirk, OK at a funeral for a soldier killed in Iraq,
earlier this year.

That was no doubt the funeral of Marine Sgt. James R. Graham III, of Coweta, Oklahoma. His Mom just told me today that they tried this at J's funeral. That would have been in early August.

Freepers, I heard of one grieving parent who received some very ugly comments directed toward his fallen son from a protester's big mouth. The protester received a broken jaw, dislocated shoulder and a hospital stay. Fortunately the matter was kept off radar. Occasionally justice does prevail.
