It would be a huge mistake to return the Democrat anger and outrage. This is a publicity stunt, and Republican vitriol will only help it along. The proper thing to do is to let it go, ignore it and get back to Senate business.
The Dems had to spring a surprise, just to get some media attention. Republicans would only look silly and defensive by fighting back. It aint about winning and losing, people. Its about what gets passed and what doesn't. Grow the hell up.
