You got it buddy! How can a wife send her husband on a "intelligence gathering" mission, especially without a confidentiality agreement? I think people who are in tune to this are starting to ask this. Was this a real mission or a "I want to get George Bush" trip at the tax payer expense? That's what infuriates me! My good hard tax dollar going to Joe Wilson cocktails and dinners in Niger just to slam this countries war effort! Who allowed the trip? Who picked him? Where's the written report? Why did he come back blabbing all over about a cover operation?

Your last question is the Key tht unlocks that particular puzzle.

Now that Fitzgerald has criminalized politics by indicting Libby, FORCE him to apply the same standard to violations of the Hatch act, in the genesis of this controversy.

The CIA Sent Wilson, a KNOWN POLITICAL QUANTITY, who made statements at odds with his Editorial between the trip, and the time he gave the Editorial, and never required a confidentiality agreement. They wanted him to say what he said, and more the likely what he said was written with the
end goal in mind....

This was the CIA hatching a plot to detract from the Administrations political course.
