Frist shouldn't be calling it a stunt. He should be calling it a childish hamfisted stunt designed to politicize national security.
Time for the Republicans to use a phrase that accurately describes what the dems are up to, namely, coup d'etat. The Republicans should shout it from the roof tops that the dems don't like the results of the 2004 elections and are trying to nullify them.
Case in point, the current issue of why we went to war was central to the campaign of 2004. Yet, here they are trying to re-do the debate as if the voters mattered for squat.
Republican talking points:
1. Dems have contempt for the voters.
2. Coup d'etat.
