Alito is out of the news and "Plamegate" is back in the news. It was a brilliant move by Reid. Seriously. As much as I loathe him and his party, it was very shrewd politics.

The evening news will lead with this story, not Judge Alito. That is what Reid accomplished. The news media will of course link today to Scooter Libby, and Reid's job is done.

Who cares. Nobady watches the evening news anymore anyway unless they're over 60. The net and cable is where we all get our news now and it's tougher for the Dims to spin stupid stunts like this. This will end up in our favor in the end. Watch.
