Harry Reid just made a motion, that was seconded, to send the Senate into closeed session.Schumer, Rockefeller and Durbin are before the press asking for a Senate Intelligence investigation into the Plame affair
They should use the camera time (Republicans) and march in Weldon to talk about Able Danger.
I guess the Dems take their cues from Joe Wilson. We just had the Joe Wilson news tour. Timing is everything, and in the Dems case, it's blatantly obvious.
Can't let that little fact get in the way now, can we?
I have never seen anything like this before
They (dems) are committing suicide
. . .well, not all - but way too many are being fooled as we speak and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. . .
Libby is indicted and Delay, of course. . .'Rove still under investigation. . .Bush's polls tanking to Demrat spin/lies and now. . .the Dems want 'real Justice'. . .they want Bush's head on a platter and in conference to see just how to make it happen. . .
The bad breath from all this including the 'shut down' must 'blow' on to Alito as well. . .
...when Wilson told Bush that there were no Iraqi plans to buy uranium, he was ATTACKED... WILSON AND HIS WIFE ARE NOW UNDER 24 HOUR PROTECTION TO KEEP BUSH FROM "GETTING TO THEM"...the truth in Iraq is not known and is being hidden by the evil Republicans... more...
you and Pepperhead are stating the obvious. Of course it was a stealth attack! Good leaders are prepared to handle stealth attacks.
Now, let's see which side gets to the media AFTER the closed session to describe what happened? Will our guys continue to play by the rules? Or will they name names and attribute quotes?
We need to be the 'wind beneath their jeans'.. :)
They are planning strategy in the Senate. Just wait for next year. It will be ugly.
Unless we get the RNC to make a commercial using all those Democrat's quotes re WMD in Iraq in 1998 after Clinton signed the Iraqi Liberation Act. That will shut them up. Quick.
Time for new tagline for me.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the collapse has begun. Let them shut down the Senate (or try). In the end, they will lose."
Some years ago, there was a book called "1857" (sorry, I loaned the book to someone who didn't return it, so I cannot give you the information) and it was about the nastiness that led up to the War Between The States.
Often I have recalled that when actual physical violence broke out, the whole thing went bad quickly. I have often thought that the day will come when we will hear about fistfights in the Congress, and who will be surprised? I think that day is near, someone is going to smack someone and then the game will be on. I in no way advance this, but I do think it will happen. If it does, all bets are off.
The Republicans had better quit being "Mr. Nice Guy" to these people.
The Republicans should call the 'rats bluff and ask if they want to revisit the resolution authorizing war in Iraq.
Judge in Delay Case recused
("Denny Crane: Gun Control? For Communists. She's a liberal. Can't hunt.")
I hope Reid doesn't threaten to open his colostomy!
It sounds like it's time for the President of the Senate, Dick Cheney, to show up for work. Maybe the Senate could use a little direction from the Executive branch.
A reporter asked that question off camera; don't know who it was.
REPUBLICANS IN WASHINGTON
NOW DO YOU GET IT???
They aren't your friends! They HATE you. They despise you. They want to spill your blood. They believe THEY are entitled to power, that you stole it from them.
Senator Frist, that anger you showed is how you should be EVERYDAY! Only it's not good enough to say you're saddened, make them BLEED. Strip them of everything conceivably possible.
Time for all Reps, especially those in the Senate, to realize there is no civility. Dems' don't want civility. HIT THEM BACK, marginalize them, make them regret the day they were born.
