I really do feel that Fitzmas might be a gift, but not to the dems. It was funny to see the MSM report on this last night. They didn't get what they wanted for Fitzmas. Thus, they just played make believe. They sat there and pretended that they got what they wanted, Libby was indicted for "outing" a CIA agent, Rove indicted or resigning, the VP resigning, the administration paralyzed, etc. It was great to see Gergen gurgle, Gregory grun and Matthews mystified.

Once again proof that the MSM simply chooses to ignore the New Media. As if we don't know that Libby was not indicted for outing a CIA agent, as if we don't know that Wilson is a proven liar. The more they ignore, the more their credibility is drained away. But hey, its fun to watch grown men and women play "make believe."

LOL, great analysis too. I too think Fitzmas was a gift -- to our side, actually.

People here who hate and ridicule Fitgerald aren't seeing the forest for the trees, IMO. I'm very sorry for Libby and his family, but it looks to me as if he stepped in his own trap.

IMO it's ultimately good for the Good Guys (our side) that Libby got caught. Libby's apparent lies gave Fitzgerald the opportunity to crack down and to keep his reputation as a "tough prosecutor."

And Fitz had to that that, really; because if he'd come up totally empty handed, the MSM would have been so outraged, we'd've heard howls till kingdom come. Fitz's entire investigation would've been branded a "Republican whitewash" and the Dim/MSM machine would've demanded more investigations and kept the controversy alive for years.

But with this one indictment, the fire is tamped down and eventually the whole stupid thing goes away.

I believe Fitz was desperately hoping to find a lesser crime he could charge than a breach of national security -- and here poor Scooter handed it to him on a silver platter.

Once again proof that the MSM simply chooses to ignore the New Media.

Unfortunately not everyone gets their news from the new media, but most (I would estimate) still get what is going on in the nation and the world from the old MSM. AND THE DEMONRATS KNOW THAT AND ARE DEPENDING ON IT in order to achieve their goals of impeaching Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld, and taking back the House and Senate in 2006. IF the Pubs can just discover some backbone, and stand up to the likes of the Reid Temper Tantrum today, perhaps we can keep House and Senate. I immediately went over to Lib radio to see what they were saying about the Reid temper tantrum and they were ecstatic. They all believe that Bush lied and thousands died, and their single goal now is to somehow prove he lied. And they will not let go of this no matter how many investigations it takes by who knows how many organizations, until they can remove Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld from office. NO MATTER WHAT THE FACTS ARE OR THAT ALL THE DEMS ALSO BELIEVED IN WMDs. Their response today in 2005 was that Bush lied to THEM (Senators) with falsified intelligence. It is like we are so dumb that we forget the Senators have clearances to see the same intelligence the Pres sees. But you won't hear any of that on the MSM.
