I just heard that the Minutemen had completed their stay in NM, and had only reported a small number of illegals to the border patrol. They made it sound like no one was using NM to cross the border. Obviously the MSM is minimizing illegal immigration in NM.

The Minutemen did spot very few illegals in this area, I thought all along THEY were the reason few were crossing. It was pretty dead while they were here, few illegals and few or no drug smugglers caught. BUT, within hours after they left this area yesterday a load of marijuana was caught after a high speed chase and smuggler wrecked- I heard 800 pounds. Then today 2 groups of illegals were found in this area, totaling about 30 in all. That is just what I have heard of since they left.

Keep in mind the Border Patrol and LE are still here in numbers and the Army is helping the BP here right now. The only thing that changed in the last two days is the Minutemen leaving. Proof enough to me that they did a great job here.

I also want to say they are a great group of people. I did not get to personally meet many of them, but I sent food to their HQ, and some of them camped in our horse pasture. Never had better neighbors, and the lady who takes care of the building they used for HQ went to clean it today- she said they left it cleaner than she has ever seen it, no need to clean. I want to thank them for coming here, and they said they may come back in April- I will be happy to welcome them back if they do.
