Amen to your additions. And surely the 4ID shall do their part to bring this budding democracy through it's final pangs of discovery, both in the political sense and their new found army. It is just very hard for me to believe many an Iraqi who is being trained well in American Army/Marine type soldiering, full of
esprit de corps all for one and one for all, covering each other backs, and now fighting side by side with the world's greatest military are not going to miss our guys upon their return to this land, once that threshold point is reached where we can pull out our main forces. To much good will has been generated between our troops and the Iraqi security forces at this point.
They will not be bad mouthing America once their country recovers from it's traumatized state from years of brutal dictatorship.
I have it on good authority that some of the Iraqi commandos in Al Anbar have been calling our Marines their buddies. Surely this is far from what many envision as happening within the Iraqi military establishment we are building from the ground up. We are giving them a true hope for the future.
