Muslims agreed to quit rioting if Paris agrees to turn Notre Dame Cathedral into a mosque, destroy all western art and artifacts in the Louvre and broadcast Muslim prayers five times a day from the Eiffel Tower.

Paris has agreed and only pleaded for an additional 48 hours to hook up the broadcast system.

No, Chirac would get tough and negotiate a 'settlement' in which authorities have 48 hours to remove all art objects from the Louvre and store them in caves. The sharia-lovers would wail that this was not the destruction of all western civilization they are seeking, but the 'moderates' among them would explain that this was just a temporary way-station until all of infidel civilization can be annihilated. Chirac would give a pompous address to the public explaining how he had saved the day by only giving up the empty shells of Notre Dame and the Louvre.......
