We're in deep doo-doo alrighty....more than most people realize. I'll go so far as to say that we've already lost. Learn to speak Spanish and be friendly I suppose. Maybe some good will come from it. For some reason, I doubt it though.

The most confounding thing to me is how few Americans realize the trouble we and our offspring are facing.

I guess it's sort of like MADD. Those moms didn't start MADD until they had lost children to a drunk driver.

People seem incapable of doing something about problems directly in front of them until the problem smacks them or their loved ones in the face.

I just wonder if or when we will ever hit critical mass. Perhaps our entire society as we knew it will expire without even a whimper.
