"Sloppy seconds" is not appropriate vernacular weather describing Judge Alito or Sen John Edwards. It was wrong to use this gutter mouth vernacular in both cases. With respect to John Roberts, I wish I could say I'm surprised. Also, one gutter mouthed phrase does not make a career in reporting, but if I were Scott M, I'd have thrown him out of the briefing and told him you can reapply in a year.

Roberts will be gone for this remark. Even SeeBS won't keep such a jerk on the WH beat and there are plenty of other airheads gunning for the assignment.
