Yeah, but this was confirmation to a piddly state judge-ship. These fatuous blowhards can afford to be magnanimous as at that time, the Honorable Alito would not have any impact in their personal baliwicks!
Now however, he will have much more power over their nefarious actions and that will surely rankle.
Hold their feet to the fire, but don't expect them to call it hot!
