In a 2003 case, Barnhart v Thomas, Alito went native, there can be no question about it. Does that tell us anything? Well, it tells us several things I suppose. Number 1, he's got a heart. Number two, he sees nothing wrong with using other peoples money in this particular case to assuage that heart. He was reversed 9-0 so in this particular case he got the law totally wrong. Hopefully it's an isolated case, we all make mistakes.
