Next up is the supposed weak on crime gambit because he voted to grant habeas to a black inmate on death row. In Williams v Price Alito sided with the majority in granting Williams a writ after state courts had refused to consider the testimony of a witness who stated that a juror had uttered derogatory remarks about African Americans during an encounter in the courthouse after the conclusion of the trial. Here, I believe Alito demonstrates wisdom.
The more I read about Alito the better I like him.
