Art Bell just reported that at 8:50 P. M. a huge, flaming object, believed to be a meteorite, fell on a farm in the neighborhood of Grovers Mill, New Jersey, twenty-two miles from Trenton.

The flash in the sky was visible within a radius of several hundred miles and the noise of the impact was heard as far north as Elizabeth.

They're reporting right now there's some sort of cylinder smashed into the ground, about 30 yards in diameter.

Wow that's huge for a meteor. And they are rarely cylindrical. I'll bet it's just the darkness. In the morning it will be more oval and blobby when they can see it in the light.
