When will these deranged animals get thrown into the dustbins of human history?

Making kids watch beheadings? Are they crazy?!!

The first one I watched shocked me so much, it was hard to sleep at night sometimes. Now imagine what it could do to an 8-year old, besides scarring him/her for life emotionally.

Was it the Chechen cutting off the Russian soldier's head? That was the most brutal one I've seen..

I would add that the type of beheadings that take place in Saudi Arabia aren't the same type that we see carried out by the terrorists. Mercifully, the SA court beheadings are much swifter-chopchop.

Unlike the slow, torturous sawing you see in the terrorist snuff films which are deliberately intended to shock the audience and cause much pain and agony to the victim.

Either way, children should not be watching them. I saw Berg's death and I wish I hadn't. :(

I replied before reading the context provided by the article. I thought this was about showing students beheadings by terrorists in Iraq rather than has a punishment out in the street.

They're not deranged. They're not animals. It's their culture and has served them for generations and such things (and worse) have been witnessed by children for millennia. The species survived just fine.

My Mother saw a hanging in rural Louisiana in 1917 or around then. All hangings were done in public. She said it was interesting. Didn't seem traumatized.

But still, I wouldn't take my grands to one.
