"all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under live robber barons than under omnipotent moral busibodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good, will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." ~ C.S. Lewis "

He might have been writing of Marxists....or Democrats as well...remember what Hitlery said "We're going to take some things back from you for the common good"

Baptists aren't known for killing 400 million folks and enslaving nearly 2 billion souls over the years...socialists of all stripes are,,,,whether Marxist socialist or National Socialist!

The politically correct religious left and the religious right are flip sides of the same legalistic coin. Their superior, self-righteous attitude of presuming to know what's best for everyone was described by C.S. Lewis perfectly. The Framers put the Constitution in the way of such mentalites. Thank GOD!

BTW - you didn't get the point in #37, or #42, or #53. Unless you're hoplessly obtuse or in denial, you should read them over and over again until you do.
