First attack was on Poland at 39 but SU had took back territory which Poland took during Soviet-Poland war several years before.
In Afghanistan SU built more then ruined. Anyway it was mistake. yes. But we loose to USA if to be honest in aggression alot it is true. Russia never made steps like France or Germany or USA now in human history.
