If two Arkansans get divorced, are they still cousins?
Reminds me of a joke my boss tells about Louisiana. (He used to work there many years ago in the oil industry.)
In Louisiana, a son is talking to his father and telling him that he is engaged to this wonderful, beautiful girl. He continues on about how great she is and that she is a virgin. The father tells him that under no circumstances is he going to marry a girl who is a virgin. After all, "if she isn't good enough for her own family, she isn't good enough for you."
