I don't have any information about this particular condition, but any disorder described as "common to children of incest" is likely to be a recessive genetic condition

Is it any weirder than a teacher marrying a her student Teacher marring a student a sin? Not as long the student is not under age.
OTOH incest has far more ramifications because of the genetic factor.
So, it is far fetched to compare an incest to under age marriage.

Does this mean that there are so many children born of incest that we know all about illnesses exclusive to them?

I'm 61 and I have a son who's 37. There is NO WAY I would have EVER considered 'marrying' him. I love the kid, but the very idea gives me the 'horror-shivvers.'
Now, my son-in-law?? That boy (age 35 this year) has a body like a Chip 'n Dale. (And my daughter has a body like the Bud girl she was in college.)
I have never had an attraction for either my son or son-in-law (or my daughter or daughter-in-law). I'm just thankful both my kids are happily married. And that I'm a card-carrying heterosexual.
