I SAID: He may have said it was classified info, but there's apparently not a criminal charge that covers that.

YOU REPLIED: I thought you said you never heard him do that? Make up your mind already.

Oh, grow up, pepperhead. He said classified instead of covert. Apparently, one's a crime and one's not. If Libby was twisting words in front of the grand jury like you're twisting my words on this thread, I certainly see why he's in the trouble he's in right now.

I just got a hour back for daylight saving time, but wasted part of it on this. I should have just went to sleep.

Sleeping would've made a heck of a lot more sense than attacking a prosecutor for doing his job. If you have evidence of misconduct or illegality by Fitzgerald, you should get in contact with the Attorney General's office, not me. The Bush Administration is responsible for hiring the guy, and I believe it was a good hire.

A non-factual statement is not necessarily a lie.

At this point, we've only got the prosecutor's side of this. If it is a discrepancy between Libby's memory and that of media people (like Judith Miller), then I can see a number of ways that we can have different recollections.

Faulty memory, speculative statements, different opinions, etc.

Innocent until proven guilty. We haven't heard his side yet. (In fact, there aren't too many who have a grasp of what the crime is.)

He looked nervous to the point where he looked like he was going to break down in tears. As he was explaining the case, his points were not clear

The Fitz we saw in the presser may not be the Fitz in the Courtroom or GJ room. The Fitz we saw yesterday, may be Fitz, the person.

As SP he is in control. He is AUTHORITY, the man with the power.

Fitz we saw in the presser, maybe the Fitz who is overwhelmed if he has no power or control. We all know people like that. They must be in control to be effective.

I'm not sure it is relevant, but that's my take on it.

A non-factual statement is not necessarily a lie.

That depends on what the definition of "is" is.

I would explain how he violated his Constitutional rights to a fair trial but you would not understand.

Nope it doesn't depend on "is."

If I tell you I'm going to Michigan, but then change my mind later because of circumstances, did I lie to you originally?

Nope.

I had no intention of telling you an untruth. A lie involves intention and a full realization that what is said is a misrepresentation.

LOL! I wouldn't understand it because it didn't happen. If it did happen, I'd expect that Bush's own Justice Department would step in and have something to say about it. The fact that they're silent supports my belief that Fitzgerald is a very ethical prosecutor.

But to whom is Libby loyal, New One? Libby received two awards from the Clinton Administration in 1993. Libby worked for/at NSC during Clinton's terms. Libby's massive law firm Dechert Price reeks of "CIA front company" and has only donated campaign money to Democrats.

Is Libby a democrat?
