Please read the new story about Mr. Manus and what has been happening. In light of that circumstance, if you matched what he's been doing, I'd not only have your son paddled, I'd have you caned...and I am very serious about it. Then, the school system would sue you until you were financially ruined to set an example. With stupidity like we've seen in this story, I'm ready for totalitarian rule if it will put a stop to this foolishness.

I have very well-behaved children.
I also have a very poor school district that is very untrustful, and my district is not the only one.
My kids' school purposefully lied about my daughters attendance in order to kick my daughters out of the school for next year. I complained a lot about problems at the school. They said that we were late to school 20 days, and because of this we could not go to the school. The only thing is that one of my daughters has severe brain damage. I was working with the school psychologist and occupational therapist to figure out ways to help my daughter get up in the mornings. It took us the entire school year to get my daughter occupational therapy even though I requested it in October.
Like I said, I would leave the corporal punishment up to the parents. If there really is a bad problem, then I would call the police. I also don't have a problem with kicking a kid out.
I don't trust school districts after the past 2 years. We are pulling my daughters out of public school. The staff at the private Christian school is already much better than the public school.
