Notice they don't reveal the percentage of the total number of black births that fall under this category.

Telling us there was only 75 more births than last year among black women means squat....unless you already know that virtually 70% of all black children are born illegitimately.

The point of the article however is that more children are born illegitimately. So, an increase of 72 would not have a great impact on the numbers. It means more people in general are following the same suit as blacks, having illegitimate kids. Especially hispanics. The only people that are not having kids are whites. What it shows me is the old belief that hispanics marry seems to be falling apart.
