Love the story of your screen name. One of my continual curiosities is of the origin/reason for screen names. So many are so fascinating as compared to my mundane reason.

At various FReeper get togethers where there are FR "old timers" there are various stories as to the origins & the "way back when" stories.. I never have REALLY listened and I should have.

If not done yet, maybe some of the old timers for the origins of FR etc will do a thread for posterity/archive reasons. And yeah, a LOT of nostalgia.

I just got in & am "hurting" big time as a result of an accident on Monday, so will turn in & do the work for post in mornning. there seeming is not clock to punch, so will be content with getting it done, when it gets done & those who posted until the next post from me, will be pinged.

Sweet dreams & wonderful rest to my FReeper friends near & far. God Bless you & keep you safe until the morrow

Thanks Dolly. I hope you're feeling better. Was it a car accident or something work related? Either way pain is no fun. Listen, if you want to arrange something for us "old timers" to do, let me know. Doug From Upland and Deb are the only ones I remember from those days, but that was before the current registration system was active. I wasn't Gooleyman in those days and I'm sure most of them have gone on to bigger and better screen names. A lot of us just used our email addresses when we posted our comments.

Like I said, I wish I had kept up with some of their names and saved some of the postings. It was a lot of fun bashing the Clintoons and discussing Whitewatergate. AmazonGirl came along and started her Clinton History Files at amazongirl.com. A lot of good memories.

Maybe us "oldtimers" should do something for the 10th anniversary. I'm sure JimRob has records of who was around back then. I don't know when he had his first fundraiser, but I started kicking in not long after that. I'll have to look back at my old checkbooks from those days. A lot of people may try to say they were around back then, but JimRobs contribution records would verify whether or not they were. Back in the 70's a Cleveland Indians pitcher pitched a no-hitter and I heard someone say that to hear then number of people who say they were at that game, there must have been about 200,000 people there that night. The stadium was big, but not that big. Take care.
