WASHINGTON — The federal grand jury investigating the CIA leak case prepared for a final day of deliberations as a special prosecutor huddled with his legal team Thursday about whether to seek indictments against administration figures for leaking the name of a covert operative.

Special Prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald was expected to announce today the results of his 22-month investigation, and there were growing expectations that one or more administration figures would be charged with wrongdoing. The grand jury was expected to meet this morning, with an announcement by Fitzgerald expected about midday.

I know that you know that there's a lot more to this than whether Libby or Rove forgot to mention to the grand jury a conversation they had 6 months prior and will/could be indicted for perjury because their memories aren't 100% perfect but we the sheeple will never know what really went on because the special prosecutor is on a witch hunt. I'm so fed up with the MSM's salivating over this I could puke.

NY Times thinks they know :

Cheney Aide Appears Likely to Be Indicted; Rove Under Scrutiny

By DAVID JOHNSTON
and RICHARD W. STEVENSON

Published: October 28, 2005

WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 - Lawyers in the C.I.A. leak case said Thursday that they expected I. Lewis Libby Jr., Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, to be indicted on Friday, charged with making false statements to the grand jury.

Karl Rove, President Bush's senior adviser and deputy chief of staff, will not be charged on Friday, but will remain under investigation, people briefed officially about the case said. As a result, they said, the special counsel in the case, Patrick J. Fitzgerald, was likely to extend the term of the federal grand jury beyond its scheduled expiration on Friday.

"I'm so fed up with the MSM"

Me too. I'm fed up with the MSM. I'm fed up with the rats. I heard some one call into one of the shows and ask if the rats could be tried for sedition, since they are basically trying to overthrow the Bush administration. I wonder if it's possible?

In any case, I hope president Bush fights back. If this is a BS witch-hunt, I hope he ignores it, and explains to people what the rats are trying to do- criminalize politics. Then he can open up investigations of every single last rat using the same "standards". How about "doing unto democrats as the democrats have done unto us" for a change? I hope he throws it right back in their face.

As for the MSM, I'm more fed up with them, than I am with the rats. I am sick to death of them trashing president Bush, trashing my country, trashing our military, lying by omission about Iraq, and actively trying to destroy president Bush, influencing our elections in favor of dems, and encouraging our enemies, while our soldiers are putting their lives at risk fighting a war. Why in the Hell should they be able to do that? Why do we put up with it? If they are going to be propagandists for the rats, they should have to identify themselves as propagandists. They should not be allowed to call themselves "journalists" or "the news" or be allowed to broadcast over public airwaves, if they don't present both sides of any issue.

IMO there should be some sort of "Fairness Doctrine" for the MSM- NBC, ABC, CBS, exc.. at least that way, our side could be heard.

Bush could so easily put a stop to all this. He should fire Valerie Plame, and have her and Joe Wilson investigated by the Justice Department. He is the Chief Executive, and that means he is the boss of the CIA, and everyone there works for him. If he, as President, should decide that Valerie Plame was not to be an undercover operative, he could say so, and it would be done.

This whole undercover operative thing is a big heap of bull crap, hot and steamy as well. I wonder what Mr. Bush thinks he is going to get from the Democrats by just bending over every time they attack him. You don't want the other party to be your enemy, but the olive branch has been used as a weapon on the Republicans ever since day one.

One could make a list 5 years long of the number of occasions that Mr. Bush deferred to the Democrats in hope of setting a new tone in Washington, and every single instance is accompanied by a back stabbing.

And all I can think of is that Mr. Bush and the Republicans are scared of the media. It's like a wife being abused by her husband: Until she decides to put a stop to it, he will keep doing it. The media hates us. They are liberals, and they hate us. They beat us, and we say we're sorry for making them hate us. What a shining example we are.
