Not to mention the "head" has a whole different meaning in the Clinton lexicon.

Reminds me of the old days.
As an aside, I picked up my first 100 or so landings in
Valley Forge (CV-45), many decades ago. And, the last of the "straight deckers" was Lake Champlain (CVA/CVS-15).
Those were the days --dangerous as can be, but really great fun! The bird farms now are truly impressive...but landing on them is a piece of cake.
I agree with the poster about revisiting battles, etc. for names. USS Bent One (CBO-1) just rings a bit hollow. *S*

Auxiliary recoil engineI bet it's faster than the stern drive...but the wake is pretty hazardous!

Please read more than the headline?
You look silly when you post before reading the article.

I would imagine he would have serveral Chinese Navy ships named after him.

Not much room for the Hookers!
To: dk/coro
The Navy had ships named Clinton before. But I think all can rest assured the Navy will never name one for Bill Clinton.

LOL. Shouldn't they name a Missile Launcher after Clinton? Or perhaps an R&R ship?

An R&R ship. Man I don't think I would want to pull R&R on that.
Oh, Man, I'm SO glad this is a joke. When I read the front page excerpt, I thought I was going to have to superglue my skull back together.

Seriously, when the time comes, we cannot let the US Navy or America be disgraced by a nuclear aircraft carrier with the Sinkmaster's name on it. Period. Just like Jimmah Carter, he will have to be "remembered" in a way without sullying a noble symbol of America like a carrier. I don't think we have to worry. There is no USS Richard Nixon, nor is there a USS Lyndon Johnson. Clinton is destined to join those two.
Unfortunately, USS Jimmy Carter (Seawolf submarine) is an exception to that rule.
