Hell if you have bears in your yard in California you should be able to have "bear arms". I mean that is only fair right?
Janice Rogers Brown would not get along well with the bears in my neighborhood. Perhaps before she passes judgement she should come here and see for herself.
Technically he is correct, there is no 2nd ammendment or right to bear arms (guns) in the California constitution. A lot of states as well.
What our constitution does however say we will be government and have the same rights that are included in the Federal Constitution which does have the 2nd amendment.
