Who else would have such a crush on McCarthy and Helms as ideal men? And who is it she's dating right now??
You're funny. How many truly conservative women do you know that go around in an ultra miniskirt? That would go on Geraldo's old show and talk explicitely about what Clinton did in the sink in the oval office? There's about 50 miles between a prude and Ann Coulter.

She trusts the president in times of war and peace. She stands behind him

To those of you who are hoping that Ann Coulter will drop out of existence, I have this to say to you.
Hell will freeze over first and you dems, come up with some kind of plan for straights and religious.
To: Borges
Soth Park conservatives, to borrow from their vernacular, suck.
Mean people suck.
Ann is mean.
Ann sucks.

Every conservative woman I know wears mini-skirts. They don't want to be mistaken for Moslems.

She is a Phil Crane type of a cut up and a conservative that you can trust. Not me.

Yet she said on the today show this morning that the only mistake president bush had made was this nomination.

"average person can watch her for 2 minutes, the way she dresses, acts, talks etc..... and then think about people that they actually know who are conservative and realize she isn't."
??
What's that supposed to mean?

This whole Miers thing has turned me off of Ann Coulter quite a bit. Rather than principled objections, she engaged in rather offensive personal smears of Ms. Miers, and I associate the politics of personal destruction more with the Left than the Right.

Ann has more common sense in the tip of one high heel shoe than quite a few do on this board put together.
Miers is gone and will stay gone.
Next
and it better be a proven conservative or this entire fiasco will be repeated.
Again and again and again and again.

I happen to agree that she can be mean and over the top. But was responding to the assertion that she's not conservative. Which is ridiculous.

Coulter can be abrasive, outspoken and lack certain, uh, diplomatic skills, but her compass points firmly to the right, and never waivers. No, her compass always points firmly at herself.
She may well be entertaining, but being "abrasive" and lacking "certain diplomatic skills" isn't exactly the way to build a majority willing to support conservative nominess. Yes, she energizes the base. She also unnecessarily alienates everyone else, with a net effect of chasing away more support that she rallies.

I trust W. Bush that H. Miers has a good heart and a strong character. I just don't think those things are what is needed for an effective supreme court justice.

I hope she fights as strong for the next nominee as she did against the last two.
