you won't see a Luttig or Rogers-Brown. but there is a thread running now with a list of possible candidates - plenty of women candidates who are not "flash points", yet have solid judicial records nonetheless. let's see McCain lead the charge to vote one of them down, and then campaign for president in 2008.

Rogers-Brown would have been the best choice instead of Miers unfortunately I think we lost that opportunity.
