Well, whomever the new nominee is, let's hope that we can bother to find something out before making conclusions about him/her.

I agree, i think it is a shame that Miers was bashed before anyone even found anything about her. I think Miers probably would have been fine, but to many things against her. Time to move on. In a year from now we won't even remember the name of Harriet Miers.
