You're on crack. First of all a Libertarian (capital L) is a member of the Libertarian Party, which JRB has never been. A small-l libertarian, on the other hand, is one who believes in a government small in size and scope and individual liberties, in other words, the things this forum's mission statement advocates. Did you know that Ronald Reagan called libertarianism the "heart and soul" of conservatism?

Also, your comments about JRB advocating "mandatory gay marriage and adoption" is ludicrous. She might support the right of the states to make such decisions, but would never advocate a national policy.

And that is the core of what a good SC judge is all about - leave to States and the People what the Federal government should have no part of.

If the people of Massachusetts want gay marriage they can have it, but don't use the SC to force Texans or Alabamans to accept it too.

Then you miss the Conservative position on these issues ~ when it comes to fundamental human rights, e.g. the right of a kid to live, the right of a kid to have parents (of different sexes), and so forth, it's insufficient for a candidate for the USSC to be expected to allow states to do whatever they wish.

Like I said, the woman is a Libertarian ~ you can tell that by reading all of her published decisions. None of you can be trusted by Conservatives.
