Cindy did not raise a son, her ex-hysband and his current wife did. She barely had any contact with her son before he died in Iraq and now she is using his death to further her own cause. This is what makes her actions so dispicable.
This would be a good night for the water trucks to come through and wash down the sidewalks...you know, to get the gum, candy wrappers, and other trash off.

She might have been an effective "tool" had she just stuck to the grieving mother script and then faded to the background so another anti-war mom could come forward to repeat the process.
Instead, the Moore-ons did the dumb thing and made her the focal point instead of the message (Bush is evil and he killed our kids). Once she started talking, the anti-war movement would have been better served to have Daffy Duck as a spokesman.

I do not doubt you but would you have a source for this? When debating liberals I like to be able to back up what I say with a source.

So are her relatives. It has been reported that her husband left her and that she is estranged from her other relatives. I guess all she has left is moveon.org.
