OK, so what if all the Dems and Rinos vote for her... do conservatives filibuster?

No, because the WH knows how to turn the screws against Conservative Senators.

But when it comes to the RINO's, they claim there's nothing they can do, that the days of keeping the caucus in line are long gone.

We could, but I'm not sure there enough of 'em to actually succeed. We need 41 votes to do so.

If GWB don't figure out a way to withdrawl her nomination I'm going to start callin for his impeachment too. For the high crimes and misdemeanors of Felonious Mopery, Tom Foolery and Crimes Against the Base.

I don't think there would be enough to filibuster. It's not that far fetched that Dems and rinos might actually think she is an acceptable choice. They give Bush what he wants and screw conservatives at the same time.

The ongoing debate continues surrounding the attempt to once again criminalize abortions or to once and for all guarantee the freedom of the individual women's right to decide for herself whether she will have an abortion.

It's an ordeal, slogging through redundancy (ongoing debate continues), the split infinitive, "the individual women," and the rest of the damnable abuse of English in that sentence; but at least one finds the answer to the mystery of Miers' abortion vote. She regards the debate as a matter of criminalizing abortion or guaranteeing "freedom...of the right to decide for herself" (is English her first language?) It couldn't be clearer, this woman is pro-abortion. Dems will embrace her. Stick a fork in us all, even Ted Kennedy may vote for her now.
