Oh geesh, Sox take the lead...
Brandon Backe pitched lights out.
If you just saw that single by Dye, then no, you didn't miss much else
Appearently real "White" men too.
It's starting to feel like Game four of last year.
They are rude people just like the rude Astro fans. Why do you ask?
Lights Out Lidge. Lately, it's been lights out for the Astros when Lidge comes in.
Thank's, he's been hot, high avg in Series.
That was a Jermaine comment.
Jermaine Dye: WS MVP?
Did you notice Dye clapping coming out of the betters box running to first. Now that was a good catch by the TV people.
Come on Astros! Let's give Politte a rude welcome.
X-Fid called it.
Don't think so, personally I like Crede, but Konerco will get it for sure.
If they don't score this inning...then the next time you see them might be in Kissimmee.
Possible. Seems there are four guys in the line-up doing very well: Crede, Konerko, Pods, Dye. Pick a name out of the hat.
Right now I give the edge to Crede.
But this has been a real team effort.
Should have caught that one.
Not good to give any team 4 outs in an inning.
These two guys announcing for this series are informed, have every fact under the sun at their fingertips, but they lack the passion. I really wish they WOULDN'T be so neutral so we could at least get involved loving or hating 'em. I wish they used some dese, dems and dos. I wished they didn't have made-for-announcing voices. I wished they'd burp at least once.
I wish they didn't sound like they made IBM commercials on the side.
I am SO with you, Leni! Great post. Whenever Joe Buck and Tim McCarver call Red Sox or Yankees games, we mute 'em and listen to the WEEI or WCBS radio broadcasters. Plenty of passion to be found there...
I had the privilege of seeing/hearing Harry Caray sing "Take me out to the ballgame" at a Cubs game at Wrigley back in the early 90s. They just don't make 'em like that anymore it seems...
