Won't do any good if his teammates can't solve Garcia.Yeah, that's true, of course. Five strikeouts for Freddy Garcia...

Thank G-d the Stros get a few walks; otherwise, there'd be no activity on the basepaths at all

I agree. If Jack Swigert or Jim Lovell had pattened that phrase, they'd be gazillionaires.
Pardon me for asking this but what is it with the bee sound effects. I'm not a baseball fan like I am for football, but the individual teams traditions fascinate me. Does anyone know a website that goes into team traditions and gameday occurrences, such as the bee sounds? Thanks in advance, all.

Backe has done his part. But the top of the line up is due up for the Sox in the sixth. So it's time for the bats to come alive!
To: texasmountainman
Ausmus with the lead-off single. Maybe Backe can get the win and the winning RBI.
To: DrewsDad
Garcia should just walk the first batter, he seems to like men on base.

Last year if you recall, the Red Sox won the Series on the night of a total eclipse of the Moon. With a team named the Astros in the mix, the influence of the cosmos will also be very strong this year.
Since Mars will be at its closest point to Earth on the night of October 29-30, passing 43.1 million miles from our planet around 11:25 p.m. EDT on the 29th, I predict a White Sox clinching victory in Chicago late Saturday evening...

Both of them got hot at the right time.

I was with you until that part about 11:25pm EDT. Everyone knows it'll be Pacific Time. Charlatan.

Astros fans: Please see NCC-1701's post #185.
I have a question about the train in Minute Maid Park. Is that a "full-size" train? Does it go back and forth on that wall, or is it stationary? I've never seen anything quite like that in a MLB ballpark...
