Whether a request for an extension is a bad or good thing, I cannot say. But it sure would show the MSM's feeding frenzy about imminent indictments is way off the mark.

I know political issues shouldn't have a bearing on the criminal investigation, but remember what happened when Clinton was wrapped up in the Impeachment. For better or worse, he did nothing else for two years.

We can't afford to have key people on the White House staff under a cloud for several more months or years. If there are indictments, they should come out now, and deal with them. An extended investigation does not serve the public in any way.
