"I left out a decimal! It's 1.77 metric tons of enriched uranium! In any event,he had it, we found it! OO-RAH!" ,P> I was goin going to question that number, but did not did not feel it meant much in the long run. I have noticed the "enriched uranium" term incorrectly used in the past by L/MSM and others. But yes, during the 70's Iraq obtained equipment and know how as how to enrich uranium to various levels. And France, Russia, Germany, and Italy where the key suppliers in this area. It will be interesting to read what Disinformation might add or subtract from the stuff I read in the book BULLSEYE IRAQ by Dan McKinnon/1987 Pub: Berkley.....ISBN 0-425-11259-4. Especially Chapter six titled "The French Connection". That was my first real eye openers on just how Europe and Russia built Iraq's nuclear capabilities up. The book's story line is how the Israeli Airforce planned and carried out the air raid on the Iraqi Osirik nuclear facilities on the east side of the Tigris river parallel with Salmon Pak. Quite riveting to say the least.
