Proves there was no need to raise the price. In my book, that's gouging. That should make them the target of a boycott. Let them see how an 89% loss feels.

I understand, because I wondered how earnings could be SO high when we were supposedly just scraping by, when I heard the figures this morning, but boycotting gasoline is not reasonable to ask people to do-we need it.

I also had the same reaction when they raised tobacco prices to fund (line the pockets of litigators) state health care programs, etc., but there wasn't much support for boycotting tobacco or the states, either.
