Wow, that means ABC News was lying to the WH communications director on a fishing trip. They were trying to get a comment from the WH to confirm somebody's rumor. They should have their correspondents kicked out of the White House now. What a low class thing to do.

All these shenanigans are leading me to believe that the White House KNOWS and that ABC knows they know. The two are playing a big time game. ABC wants them to show their hand and they are just not going to do it.
Which further leads me to believe that this may end up being a really big surprise to a lot of people, especially the press. After the White House refused to rise to the bait, I'm just not that worried.
I'm prepared for bad news just in case. But if it's Scooter...nobody cares. Most of the country couldn't even name Rove, let alone Scooter. They can barely name Rumsfield or Rice for that matter.
